Home School Association at St. John Regional Catholic School
The Home and School Association (HSA) is an organization of parents, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to foster a caring environment that strives for continued parental involvement in building a better educational experience for our children.
Through membership dues, the HSA is able to purchase educational materials and equipment for our school, provide social events for the SJRCS community, and support service-oriented efforts for those in need.
The HSA works to promote open communication, good will and cooperation between and among students, parents, administrative staff, faculty, and other affiliated parties. We endeavor to form and support a strong family-centered environment through social activities for the entire SJRCS community. We hope you will join us!

Volunteer Opportunities
The HSA provides the volunteers that organize and coordinate many community-building and fundraising activities. These activities include Children’s Bingo, Book Fair, Breakfast with Santa, Father-Daughter Dance, and a Mother-Son Event.
All parents are encouraged to join us and volunteer for at least two events per year to support SJRCS.
Parents in Partnership Volunteer Program for the 2023-2024 School Year
Parents and guardians of the students attending SJRCS are encouraged to become actively involved by volunteering at school. Parents may receive a discount off their tuition in the amount of $10 an hour up to 30 hours per student. This can reduce each student’s tuition by $300 per school year. The Pre-K half-day students can earn a $150 reduction in tuition by volunteering 15 hours per school year.
Example:
Student 1 30 hours of volunteering equals $300 reduction in tuition
Student 2 60 hours of volunteering equals $600 reduction in tuition
Student 3 90 hours of volunteering equals $900 reduction in tuition
1/2 day students 15 hours of volunteering equals $150 reduction in tuition
**All volunteers must be VIRTUS certified.
